1. Introduction

Welcome to MedicalBox.in (the “Platform”). This is a non-commercial, community service platform initiated and managed by the students of SV School of Pharmacy, Puttur – 517583, A.P, coordinated by staff, as part of the “Social and Preventive Pharmacy” academic curriculum.

The Platform acts as a technology-based facilitator to connect users (“you,” “your”) with registered Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Janaushadhi Kendras (“PMBJP Kendra”). By accessing or using our service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). If you disagree with any part of the terms, you must not use this Platform.

2. Nature of Our Service

2.1. Facilitator Role: MedicalBox.in is strictly an online aggregator. We are NOT a pharmacy. We do not sell, stock, or deliver any medicines. Our service is limited to transmitting your order request to a third-party PMBJP Kendra near you.

2.2. Direct Contract: The actual contract for sale is a legally binding agreement directly between you and the PMBJP Kendra. We are not a party to this contract and assume no liability arising from it.

2.3. No Medical Advice: Information on MedicalBox.in is for informational purposes only and is not a substitute for professional medical advice. Always consult a qualified doctor for any health issues.

3. Prescription Policy

3.1. Valid Prescription Required: For all prescription drugs, you must upload a clear, valid prescription from a Registered Medical Practitioner.

3.2. Verification by Pharmacy: The uploaded prescription is forwarded to the PMBJP Kendra. The Kendra’s registered pharmacist is solely responsible for verifying its authenticity and dispensing medicines accurately and legally. The PMBJP Kendra has the full right to reject any prescription they deem invalid or fraudulent.

4. Pricing, Payment, and Delivery

All aspects of your transaction are handled directly by the pharmacy, not by us.

  • Pricing: Determined solely by the PMBJP Kendra.
  • Payment: Processed directly between you and the Kendra.
  • Delivery: Managed and fulfilled entirely by the Kendra.

MedicalBox.in has no role in pricing, payment processing, or the delivery of orders.

5. Limitation of Liability

As a student-run facilitator platform, MedicalBox.in, SV School of Pharmacy, its students, and staff shall NOT be liable for:

  • The quality, efficacy, or side effects of medicines supplied by the Kendra.
  • Any errors in dispensing, delivery delays, or pricing disputes.
  • Any medical outcomes resulting from the use of medicines ordered through the platform.

The service is provided on an “as-is” basis.

6. User Obligations

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and current information.
  • Upload only genuine and valid prescriptions.
  • Use the platform for lawful purposes only.

7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh.
